Announcing the availability of the NVIDIA open kernel driver package into the ELRepo repository.
Starting with the NVIDIA 570 driver set, we have added the kmod-nvidia-open package which supports Turing and later GPUs. It is required for Blackwell and later GPUs.
If you are unsure of which kmod driver package to use, our nvidia-detect utility will recommend the appropriate kmod package.
If you currently have the kmod-nvidia installed, you can switch to the kmod-nvidia-open using the command:
dnf install kmod-nvidia-open --allowerasing
